It has been a very busy summer thanks to the generous support provided by Jim Tinger and the staff of the New Paltz Youth Program, as well as Ulster Prevention Council and community volunteers. We are gearing up with an awesome fall schedule, so please stay tuned!
The Office for Community Wellness is hosting a "Goofy & Spooky Stories and S'mores" event. The fun kicks-off with s'mores making followed by stories told around a campfire. This event is FREE and best for those 6 and older.
Special thanks to the Ulster Prevention Council and the Redeemer Church for helping make this event possible. We will be set up in the backyard of Redeemer Church, located at 90 Rte. 32 in New Paltz.
"Movies in the Park" - End of Summer Feature
The Town of New Paltz's Office for Community Wellness is grateful for the opportunity to offer three (3), FREE outdoor movie nights for the summer season. These substance-free, family-fun events are being co-sponsored by the Ulster Prevention Council and the New Paltz Youth Program.
Simply bring a lawn chair and a blanket to Hasbrouck Park, located at 15 Mohonk Avenue in New Paltz. We are providing free popcorn. (We will even have insect repellant on-hand just in case.)
